In addition to this, she has vast experience in designing and Managing operations for over 1500 low rise residential buildings for Residential Sound Insulation program funded by Federal Aviation Authority. Her responsibilities include Project Management and Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems design, Interdisciplinary coordination, construction administration. She has expertise in HVAC system design of Wet side and Dry side such as VRF systems, Packaged central plant and Custom and packaged VAV air handling unit system, Kitchen exhaust and Fume Hood exhausts etc. She is proficient in Building Energy compliance and Sustainable building designs.

Khushboo is currently working on the LAX Automated People Mover (APM) project and has managed several HVAC aviation projects such as the Southwest Airlines Line MX renovation at San Jose International Airport and various other projects at San Francisco International Airport, San Diego International Airport and Long Beach Airport. She is actively involved in design and managing medium to large scale projects and helps prepare specifications, cost estimates, Basis of Design, HVAC system assessment reports and conducting internal quality control checks. In addition to this she is also coordinating various aspects of construction activities, such as construction pre-walks with the contractor, attending construction meetings responding to RFIs coordination with other trades to ensure project success.

Khushboo has recently published a presentation for various effective HVAC system design strategies to mitigate COVID-19. She has been actively involved in analyzing and assessing various techniques that works very efficiently with the retrofit buildings without major modifications to the existing HVAC system that can help with COVID-19 and indoor air quality. Her expertise to design HVAC systems with meeting the highest indoor air quality and implemented strategies make the buildings ready for COVID-19 as well as other viruses. She has provided and implemented HVAC strategies to mitigate COVID-19 for Granbury Police Station in Houston, Texas as well as the LAX Security Badge Office in Los Angeles, California.
