Jonathan West has over ten years of experience in plumbing systems design and construction. He has extensive experience in the engineering design process, including the research and application of building and plumbing codes to develop design criteria, scope and construction documentation. He has designed a comprehensive range of plumbing systems, such as: medical gas, natural gas, oxygen and vacuum, sanitary waste, vent, grease waste, domestic cold and hot water, to name a few.
His expertise has been applied to civic, educational, commercial, healthcare, and office design. As a former municipal building inspector Mr. West has a whole building engineering perspective in his approach to design and construction.
Mr. West has recently served as Plumbing Design Manager for six APM (Automated People Mover) Stations currently under construction. He facilitated LADBS approval for an LAX APM plumbing code modification and subsequently received permits for all stations.
