F/T Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer - Glendora, CA

Assist senior project managers with the coordination and completion of projects, within the timeline and budget. Oversee all aspects of projects. Attend meetings at the beginning of the project and progress meetings with architects and owners to better understand projects and the phases of the design process accompanied by a Senior Engineer; Assist senior project manager on construction management to review RFIs, Submittals and management of data from the contractor; Attend Plan check meetings to explain the scope of work to the city plan reviewer; Develop detail voltage drop calculations, design and drawing of single line diagrams, lighting calculations and lighting designs using AutoCAD and Revit software for new and existing buildings as per California’s energy saving codes – Title 24 and panel scheduling, conduit and cable schedules and installation details as per NEC electrical standard codes; Responding to requests for information (RFIs) and plan check comments; field assessments, providing electrical power design for HVAC units, develop cost estimates and written description of energy conservation measures in support of design build energy cost saving proposals and technical audits, reviews of submittal and shop drawings; consult building owners and architect on sustainable design strategies and operations.

Position Requirements: Master’s Degree Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics or related field is required.
