Mr. Shah has 6 years of electrical
engineering experience for airport, health care, light
industrial, retail, educational, and commercial facilities.
He is responsible for construction cost estimating,
specification writing, construction administration,
bidding and negotiation, and all aspects of electrical
engineering and design.
Mr. Shah has designed voice and data distribution systems
(including fiber optic backbones and Category 5 copper
to workstations). Telephone systems using both on-site
PBX and Centrex Systems, have been included in many
of his projects. Active system components for local
area networking including hubs, bridges and routers.
Mr. Shah is extremely well versed with equipment and
termination space requirements, environmental concerns,
and building- wide or multiple building site-wide distribution
networks. He has also designed audio/video conferencing,
patient tracking, intercom, corrective clock, television,
security, public address, fire alarm, nurse call/code
blue, school communications (educational technology),
and other signal and

Mr. Shah possesses hands on experience
for construction administration such as review of substitution,
submittal review, field observation and reports, response
to RFI’s, etc. He has designed power, lighting, and
signal systems for all areas of educational facilities,
to include classrooms, multipurpose areas/rooms, auditoriums,
kitchens, cafeterias, media centers, administrative
areas, gymnasiums, and laboratories. Further, he has
extensive experience with airports, heavy remodels,
building additions, instant schools, relocatable classrooms,
and new facilities.
Mr. Shah’s experience lies with the design of educational
facilities, where the projects are required to be reviewed
and approved by the Division of the State Architect
(DSA). Working in close coordination with DSA, he communicates
with them throughout the development of the contract
documents, submission for their review, construction
administration, and meeting all their requirements.
