Mr. Shah
has over 30 years experience in originating, executing,
bidding, negotiating and implementing electrical systems
design. His experience includes the design of federal
and state, government facilities, educational, military,
commercial, industrial and health care facilities including
central power plants and material handling plants.
Mr. Shah is experienced with the technical review and
quality control of design projects and energy conservation
studies. Daylighting, photovoltaic systems, cogeneration
and interruptible service power programs are areas which
he has considerable technical expertise.
Over the past few years, Mr. Shah has actively participated
in over ten (10) cogeneration and thermal energy storage
projects. Other areas of expertise include utility paralleling
cogeneration systems, the design of medium and high
voltage site distribution systems and emergency power
generation and distribution system up to 7000 kW.
Mr. Shah has additional extensive experience with power
systems, including power substations, |
switchgear,
motor control centers and overhead and underground distribution
lines, including repair and replacement of heavy electrical
equipment.
Mr. Shah has also been involved in the design of life
safety and communications systems ranging from multiplexed
addressable fire alarm systems to state of the art security
system. He has designed electrical systems for hospital
areas such as ICU/CCU suites, surgery rooms, cardiac
catheterization labs, same day surgery rooms and neonatal
intensive care units for many leading medical institutions
in Southern California.
In 1993, Mr. Shah was selected by the United States
Foreign and Commercial Service, as one 1 of 12 professionals
for a delegation to Pakistan. The purpose of the delegation
