PBS Engineers, Inc., has incorporated Computer-Aided Drafting Design operations. CADD allows us to provide its services with greater speed and accuracy than possible if using manual techniques.

PBS Engineers, Inc., has a total commitment to CADD and is expanding its system to involve all professional personnel in the office. The system presently includes IBM-Compatible PC’s and notebooks running AutoCAD. The systems are extremely flexible and powerful and are used by all disciplines in the office involved with the production of drawings. In the design stages, rapid drafting of alternatives, allow for a more comprehensive search for the best possible design. During the production of construction documents, speed, accuracy, and uniform symbology result in a better coordinated and complete set of drawings. During job negotiations and construction, a flexible graphic database allows for rapid changes which produces documents that are up-to-date and accurate. We can successfully translate drawings to and from all major CADD systems (AutoCAD,) ensuring compatibility with the CAD solutions employed by our consultants and clients.

PBS Engineers, Inc., employs the graphic computers as an extension of the capabilities of its existing professional staff rather than merely a device to increase the speed of a small group of technical draftsmen. We are versed in the use of electronic document transfer and has used modem - SDSL transfer of document files across the country facilitating project delivery and document transfer in minimal time frames, enabling our clients and ourselves optimize work effort and coordinate plotting and printing schedules.
